Ghee butter from colostrum (other names: colostrum fat, bovine colostrum) is a butter that is produced in the process of clarification at low temperature (40°C). The process allows to get rid of unwanted ingredients such as protein deposits and water while preserving all the valuable ingredients from the colostrum. Ghee butter from colostrum is made only from milk fat, thanks to the high smoke point (approx. 240°C) it is perfect for the kitchen, and long-term heating does not affect the production of toxic substances typical of animal fats. The product is perfect for frying, baking or eating in other forms, wherever butter or milk fat can be used. The colostrum fat does not contain lactose or casein, which makes it an alternative for people who are allergic and intolerant to cow’s milk products.
